The operation
A resort is a hundred operations running at once and not one of them reads the whole. A front-desk backup at four o'clock is an F&B problem at seven, and by the time the floor feels it, the decision that would have fixed it is hours gone. The signal was upstream, in a different department, before the effect ever landed. A stadium on game night is the same read with the volume turned up: forty thousand guests checked in at once and turned over in four hours.
